Art in Severance
Severance widely features various forms of art throughout its episodes.
Paintings
Paintings are a significant aspect of Lumon’s lore. All paintings appear to be rendered in oil, in a variety of styles. They frequently depict scenes from the life of Lumon Industries founder Kier Eagan, or illustrate his philosophies and sayings. While all of the paintings appear to relate in some way to Lumon, not all of the paintings are Kier-centered.
The paintings are stored, maintained and hung by the Optics and Design department which is located on the Severed Floor.
