Severance widely features various forms of art throughout its episodes.
Paintings are a significant aspect of Lumon’s lore. All paintings appear to be rendered in oil, in a variety of styles. They frequently depict scenes from the life of Lumon founder Kier Eagan, or illustrate his philosophies and sayings. While all of the paintings appear to relate in some way to Lumon, not all of the paintings are Kier centered.
The paintings are stored, maintained, and hung by the Optics and Design department, which is located on the Severed Floor.
In addition, Irving Bailiff’s Outie is a prolific painter at his home studio, though he appears to paint only one subject over and over—the corridor leading to the Testing Floor.
The names of artworks with known titles are listed in bold.
