Upon successfully refining 100% of a file in MDR, the refiner's workstation will show a computer-animated video of Kier himself congratulating them on a job well done. It opens on Kier on a mountaintop, echoing the image of Kier in the painting Kier Invites You to Drink of His Water, and ends with him soaring away in flight through the clouds. This flying motif is echoed in the Thank Kier for the Macrodat Uprising video produced after the Macrodat Uprising.

The voice of Kier in this video was provided initially by Ben Stiller as a scratch track, but then the production team agreed it should remain his voice.
