Dell Hatch was an employee at Edgare Willit's furniture emporium in the mid 19th century. There, he befriended his co-worker Kier Eagan, who would later write about Dell in the Lumon Compliance Handbook.
Dell was an amputee, having only one hand. Kier attempted to help Dell conceal this fact by stretching chicken skin over wooden sticks. Unfortunately, Mr. Willit eventually grew wise to the deception and sent Dell away, possibly to children's prison. It is unknown what happened to Dell next, but given that he lived in the mid 19th century, he is most likely deceased.
