//Severance// takes place in a company town ([[theories_about_kier_pe|Kier, PE]]) largely sealed off from the rest of the world throughout the 20th century. As a result, it is a sort of time capsule of significant architectural styles as well as design sensibilities that otherwise have moved on in the world at large. This page attempts to document some of the real-world designs and designers which likely inspired the look and feel of //Severance//.
