In episode one, Ms. Cobel has just moved into her new office. It is a wood-paneled space with a stormy triptych painting behind her desk. She only has this painting and a small sculpture of a head, presumably Kier Eagan as decoration in this office. On her broad main desk sits a desk phone with only two buttons; on her side desk, the sort traditionally relegated for a typewriter, she has a color monitor on which she can view any security feed on any room, incuding sound.
Outside Cobel's office is Seth Milchick's desk area, as he is her second in command on the Severed floor.
