A tradition at Lumon is to have a group photo taken of the staff in a department. Each employee in the department receives a copy, about 4“ by 6” size, which is put in a silver colored frame. It is one of the few decorations that appear to be allowed on employees' desks.
When new staff replaces departed staff, it is Lumon policy to keep the old photos on the desks until the new picture has been taken and distributed. There is a page in the handbook that states this outright.
When Mark Scout removes the group photo that features Petey and which made him sad, he placed two frames on either side of a stack of reams of paper, rather than stack all four atop each other which there was adequate space to do.
