Badge

Lumon employees all wear badges, apparently of the RFID type.

Employees on the Severed floor are issued two badges: one standard photo badge with their Outie's name on it, and one plain solid-color badge with no identifying marks on it for use on the Severed floor.

Badges are color-coded by department.

The known color-to-department assignments are:

• Blue - Macrodata Refinement
• Green - Optics and Design
• Black - Severed Floor Administration and Security
