====== Stairwell ======

The **stairwell** is another means of access to and from the [[Lumon Industries]] [[severed_floor]]. It functions in the same manner as the [[elevator]], triggering the mechanism in the [[severance chip]] that spatially separates memories. On the corridor side of the stairwell door, severed employees are in their [[innie]] state, and on the stairwell side of the door, they are in their [[outie]] state.
