====== Elevator ======

The **elevator** is the principle device through which the [[Severance chip]] is activated, triggering the separation of memory enabled by the [[severance procedure]]. It is located in the [[Lumon Industries]] headquarters and provides access between the [[main lobby|lobby]] and the [[severed_floor]], as well as to other floors.

A number of [[other floors|other floors]] at Lumon headquarters ostensibly accessible by elevator are revealed on the displays visible in the [[Security Office]]. They indicate the existence of a bank of at least four elevators capable of reaching the same set of floors.

An apparently separate elevator leads from the Severed Floor to the [[Testing Floor]].
