Reintegration is an experimental process by which an individual implanted with a Severance chip is no longer under its control. The actual process is vague; it does not involve removing the implant.

The first person to undergo Reintegration is Peter Kilmer. He later died, possibly from Reintegration sickness.

Reintegration is performed secretly by Dr. Regabhi, a former Lumon Industries employee. She is the surgeon who performed implantations for the company.
